PETALING JAYA: Tiga lelaki ditahan polis susulan kejadian memukul seorang lelaki orang kurang upaya (OKU) di tapak jualan pasar tani di Chukai, Kemaman yang tular malam tadi. Pemangku Ketua Polis Kemaman, Wan Muhammad Wan Jaafar, berkata suspek ditahan ketika hadir untuk siasatan di IPD Kemaman, kira-kira 8 malam semalam. Katanya, ketiga-tiga suspek yang ditahan berusia antara 18 hingga 60 tahun. “Kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 147 Kanun Keseksaan kerana merusuh,” katanya, menurut Berita Harian. Semalam, tular satu video yang menunjukkan mangsa OKU itu telah dipukul oleh beberapa individu. Kejadian berlaku apabila mangsa yang menunggang motosikal dikatakan melanggar sebuah gerai jualan di situ kira-kira 9.30 pagi. Pelanggaran menyebabkan barangan jualan seorang peniaga tumpah dan terjatuh sebelum mangsa dibelasah hingga cedera. Mangsa yang juga OKU ketidakupayaan mental dibawa ke hospital Kemaman dan dirawat sebagai pesakit luar. News
