PETALING JAYA: Seorang kakitangan jabatan kerajaan di Melaka direman tujuh hari oleh Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) berhubung kes rasuah RM13,125 daripada kontraktor untuk mendapatkan kerja perkhidmatan di jabatan itu. Perintah reman terhadap suspek berusia 43 tahun itu dikeluarkan oleh Majistret Khairunnisak Hassni selepas membenarkan permohonan SPRM Melaka di Mahkamah Majistret Ayer Keroh, menurut Berita Harian. Menurut sumber, suspek ditahan kira-kira 2.50 petang semalam ketika hadir memberi keterangan di Pejabat SPRM Melaka untuk membantu siasatan. Katanya, kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 17(a) Akta SPRM 2009 yang sabit kesalahan boleh didenda tidak kurang daripada lima kali ganda jumlah atau nilai suapan atau RM10,000.00, mengikut mana lebih tinggi dan penjara tidak melebihi 20 tahun. Sementara itu, Pengarah SPRM Melaka Adi Supian Shafie ketika dihubungi mengesahkan penahanan suspek dan perintah reman berkenaan. News
