(EPA Images file pic) SINGAPORE: A Vietnamese cargo ship has sunk in the Singapore maritime search and rescue region and all 18 crew members have been rescued. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore was alerted by container vessel Nicolai Maersk that it received a distress call from Vietnam-registered freighter Dolphin 18, according to a statement issued by the authority on Saturday. All the sailors were rescued from lifeboats by Nicolai Maersk. The distressed ship was reported to be about 274 nautical miles southwest of Vung Tau, Vietnam. The Singapore authority has issued a broadcast for passing vessels to navigate with caution in the area. News
