(Gambar SPRM) PETALING JAYA: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) menahan seorang pengarah syarikat disyaki meminta dan menerima rasuah kira-kira RM1 juta. Dakwaan rasuah itu, menurut sumber, sebagai balasan untuk memberikan kerja-kerja sebagai subkontraktor berhubung tender perkhidmatan membekal makanan dan minuman kepada para pekerja, berjumlah kira-kira RM900 juta. Suspek berkenaan, seorang lelaki berusia lingkungan 50-an, ditahan semalam ketika hadir memberikan keterangan di SPRM Putrajaya. SPRM peroleh perintah reman lima hari sehingga 20 Jan pagi tadi. “Siasatan awal mendapati suspek dipercayai melakukan perbuatan tersebut pada Ogos 2023 dan wang rasuah dikesan dipindahkan ke akaun milik syarikat suspek,” menurut sumber. “Suspek juga disyaki mengaku sebagai kontraktor utama bagi tender pembekalan makanan dan minuman selama lima tahun kepada pekerja di sebuah loji penapisan minyak sedangkan pembekalan tersebut tidak wujud.” Dalam pada itu, sumber memaklumkan bahawa suspek turut menyamar sebagai ‘Datuk’ dan mempunyai rekod jenayah melampau membabitkan kes penipuan.
