(Facebook pic) PETALING JAYA: Four lucky punters have won a combined total of RM121 million in Sports Toto’s 4D Jackpot game, the highest ever jackpot in Malaysia’s history. Sports Toto Malaysia confirmed tonight that the “supreme jackpot” had been won. Long queues were seen at Toto outlets across the country today as punters tried their luck. The company said three punters had won almost RM35 million each, while one person walked away with almost RM17 million. “Congratulations to our Supreme Jackpot winners,” it said in a brief Facebook posting. The previous record for the highest jackpot was reportedly RM97 million in 2022, won by two punters from Penang and Selangor. Sports Toto CEO Nerine Tan was quoted as saying today that the high jackpot had contributed to a surge of lottery ticket sales. Sports Toto is owned by STM Lottery Sdn Bhd, part of tycoon Vincent Tan’s Berjaya Group. News
