KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang penuntut Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Sesyen atas pertuduhan sengaja mendatangkan kecederaan menggunakan seterika terhadap rakan sekelasnya, bulan lalu. Tertuduh, Amirul Iskandar Norhanizan, 22, bagaimanapun mengaku tidak bersalah terhadap pertuduhan itu di hadapan Hakim Egusra Ali. Berdasarkan kertas pertuduhan, dia didakwa melakukan perbuatan itu terhadap Mohd Salman Saiful Surash, 20, di hostel UPNM pada 11.45 malam, 22 Okt lalu. Pendakwaan terhadapnya dikemukakan mengikut Seksyen 324 Kanun Keseksaan yang jika sabit kesalahan boleh dipenjara sehingga 10 tahun atau dengan denda atau dengan sebatan atau dengan mana-mana dua daripada hukuman itu.
