(PDRM pic) PETALING JAYA: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed in a collision with a car at Km12 Jalan Tampin-Gemas near Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, today. The motorcyclist, 38, and his mother, 72, were on their way back from Gemencheh and were heading to Pulau Sebang, Melaka, Bernama reported. Tampin police chief Amiruddien Sariman said the accident occurred at 9am after the car driver, a 19-year-old mechanic, lost control of his vehicle and veered into the opposite lane, colliding with the motorcycle. He said the mechanic from Pulau Sebang was heading towards Palong at the time and escaped unhurt. The driver has been detained for further investigations. News
