Taman eko rimba, hutan taman negeri di Pahang ditutup akibat MTL Posted on 17/11/2024 By udot Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Pahang berkata aktiviti rekreasi dalam hutan simpan kekal seperti pendakian gunung, perkhemahan dan sukan lasak berkenderaan dilarang. (Gambar Bernama) PETALING JAYA: Taman eko rimba, hutan taman negeri dan kawasan pelancongan eko di Pahang ditutup sementara disebabkan bermulanya monsun timur laut (MTL). Aktiviti rekreasi dalam hutan simpan kekal (HSK) seperti pendakian gunung, perkhemahan, memancing, perkelahan dan sukan lasak berkenderaan turut dilarang sepanjang MTL yang diramalkan membawa hujan lebat, khasnya kepada negeri di Pantai Timur. Penolong Pengarah Kanan Hutan Lipur Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Pahang (JPNP), Muhamad Rahman Mustafa, berkata penutupan sementara itu bermula 21 Okt lalu hingga satu tarikh akan dimaklumkan kelak. Beliau berkata, kejadian tidak diingini seperti kepala air, tanah runtuh, pokok tumbang dan terputus hubungan boleh berlaku ketika hujan lebat. “JPNP sentiasa mengambil berat keselamatan pengunjung di kawasan pelancongan seliaan jabatan. Keputusan menutup sementara perlu dilakukan demi keselamatan,” katanya menurut Berita Harian. “Bagi pengunjung yang tidak mematuhi notis ini, tindakan undang-undang boleh dikenakan mengikut Akta Perhutanan Negara 1984. Sebarang pertanyaan, boleh berhubung terus dengan JPNP di talian 09-5732911/2914.” Menurutnya, penguat kuasa Pejabat Hutan Daerah akan melakukan rondaan dari semasa ke semasa bagi memastikan tiada individu berada dalam taman eko rimba, hutan taman negeri dan HSK sepanjang tempoh itu. Tetapi, beliau berkata, penutupan sementara itu tidak termasuk Taman Eko Rimba Mossy Forest di Cameron Highlands. Terdapat 25 taman eko rimba dan dua taman negeri yang dikunjungi pelancong tempatan serta asing di Pahang. News
