(Bernama pic) KUALA LUMPUR: The meteorological department (MetMalaysia) expects a “monsoon surge” to occur from Dec 8 to 14 in the eastern part of Peninsular Malaysia. MetMalaysia said the situation has the potential to cause continuous rain during that period. In a statement today, it also said based on an analysis of weather models, a concentration of wind is expected to occur in Kelantan and Terengganu from tomorrow evening until early Wednesday morning. This could produce thunderstorms and heavy rain during the period, it said. News
