(Gambar Fail) KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang Ahli Parlimen kerajaan mempersoalkan ketiadaan beras putih tempatan di pasaran ketika ini. Hassan Karim (PH-Pasir Gudang) berkata, walaupun harga beras putih tempatan ditetapkan hanya RM2.60 sekilogram, hasil pemeriksannya mendapati ia hampir tiada di pasaran. “Apa makna beras tempatan murah tapi tak ada, yang ada beras import yang mahal. Dalam masa dua tahun ini, (wabak) Covid-19 dah tak ada, takkan tak boleh selesaikan perkara ini. (Isu beras) ini kena selesiakan. “Saya berharap kalau soal makan, beras…kerajaan kita tak dapat selesaikan apa maknanya belanjawan beratus bilion tapi soal makan tak beres lagi,” katanya ketika membahaskan Belanjawan 2025 di Dewan Rakyat. Hassan berkata, Kementerian Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan (Mafi) perlu meneliti semula peranan Seksyen Kawal Selia Padi dan Beras yang dilihat belum dapat menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. “Persepsi rakyat ketika ini kata beras import yang dijual di kedai, di pasar sebenarnya beras tempatan atau campuran sebahagian tempatan, sebahagian import, tolong jawab. “Mafi, menteri, timbalan menteri tolong pantau. Kita jadi kerajaan, saya di blok kerajaan, bukan baru dua bulan tapi dah dua tahun tak selesai masalah ini. Malu saya,” katanya. News
