PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested the driver of a car who tried to ram down two people on a motorcycle in Kuala Kurau, Perak. Kerian police chief Juna Yusoff said the suspect was arrested after one of the victims filed a report on the incident on Tuesday. His car was also seized. In his report, the motorcyclist said he and his friend had tried to stop the suspect’s vehicle after it was involved in another accident and fled the scene. “The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder and Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving,” Juna said in a statement today. A video of the incident, which has gone viral, showed a car crashing into the back of a motorcycle ridden by two men, causing both of them to fall.
