(Gambar AP) ISTANBUL: Tiada perang lain menjadikan wanita dan kanak-kanak sebagai sasaran secara langsung seperti yang berlaku dalam genosid yang berterusan di Gaza, kata Presiden Turki Recep Tayyip Erdogan, menurut laporan Agensi Anadolu (AA). “Selama 13 bulan yang lepas, lebih dua pertiga daripada lebih 50,000 orang awam yang terbunuh di Gaza adalah wanita dan kanak-kanak,” kata Erdogan ketika berucap pada Sidang Kemuncak Antarabangsa Wanita dan Keadilan di ibu kota komersial Turki, Istanbul. Beliau berkata, Ankara akan terus menyokong “saudara” mereka di Gaza dan Lubnan, yang kedua-duanya dikepung oleh serangan Israel, sehingga pembunuhan beramai-ramai dihentikan dan gencatan senjata serta keamanan dapat diwujudkan.
