Harga sayur dijangka stabil Mac depan, kata Mat Sabu Posted on 18/12/2024 Menteri Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan Mohamad Sabu berkata harga sayur di pasaran akan meningkat pada setiap musim tengkujuh. TUMPAT: Harga sayur-sayuran di pasaran tempatan dijangka kembali stabil Mac depan selepas berakhirnya monsun timur laut (MTL), kata Menteri Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan, Mohamad Sabu. Beliau yang lebih dikenali Mat Sabu berkata, cuaca tidak menentu kini menyebabkan bekalan sayur berkurangan dan harga jualan meningkat. “Setiap kali musim tengkujuh akan berlaku masalah tersebut dan kita memang ada terima laporan berhubung perkara ini, yang mana harga sayur dijual di pasaran akan meningkat. “Justeru, kita jangka masalah ini dapat diselesaikan pada Mac tahun depan dan Lembaga Pemasaran Pertanian Persekutuan (Fama) akan memainkan peranan memastikan bekalan sayur mencukupi di negeri terlibat,” katanya di bangunan Persatuan Peladang Kawasan (PPK) Bunga Raya di sini. Terdahulu, Mohamad menyampaikan Bantuan Khas Sumbangan Tunai (BKST) Fasa 2 berjumlah RM6.3 juta kepada 10,628 pesawah di Kelantan yang terjejas banjir tahun ini. Menurutnya, kerugian awal dalam sektor pertanian akibat banjir di Kelantan sejak bulan lepas dianggarkan berjumlah RM33.2 juta membabitkan 4,888 individu. “Seluas 10,229.12 hektar kawasan pertanian terjejas dengan 9,958.29 hektar kawasan sawah melibatkan 4,207 pesawah, manakala selebihnya kawasan perikanan dan tanaman, selain padi. “Kementerian Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan bersama jabatan serta agensi di bawahnya sentiasa bersedia membantu semua golongan sasar terkesan dengan bencana banjir selaras nilai teras Ihsan di bawah Malaysia Madani.” News
