Kedah FC head coach Nafuzi Zain quits Posted on 25/11/2024 Nafuzi Zain resigned as Kedah Darul Aman FC head coach, with Victor Andrag named as interim head coach. ALOR SETAR: Victor Andrag has been appointed interim head coach of Kedah Darul Aman FC to replace Nafuzi Zain, who resigned today. “The team management will continue to monitor and keep track of candidates for the post of head coach,” said the club’s acting CEO Shahrul Samsudin. There have been reports lately that Nafuzi, the former Terengganu FC coach, would take charge of Malaysia’s Under-23 squad as head coach. Shahrul said the club respected Nafuzi’s wish to leave. “Since joining the team in December 2022 until now, he has shown a very high level of quality, commitment and precision,” he said in a statement tonight. He added that Kelantan-born Nafuzi’s best achievement was in securing fourth place for the club in the 2023 Super League in his first year with the team as well as a semi-final placing in the 2024 FA Cup.
