(Gambar SPRM) PETALING JAYA: Seorang pengarah syarikat bergelar Datuk ditahan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) selepas disyaki mengemukakan dokumen mengandungi butiran palsu bernilai kira-kira RM1.1 juta. Sumber berkata, dokumen itu membabitkan permohonan kuota pekerja asing untuk kelulusan Kementerian Sumber Manusia Katanya, suspek lelaki berusia sekitar 40-an yang juga warga Bangladesh ditahan kira-kira 9 malam semalam ketika hadir memberi keterangan di SPRM Selangor. Menurutnya, suspek dipercayai melakukan perbuatan itu sekitar 2023 dengan mengemukakan dua permohonan kuota melibatkan seramai 600 pekerja asing oleh syarikat berkenaan sedangkan pembekalan tenaga kerja bagi projek dikemukakan tidak wujud. “Dua permohonan ini melibatkan pembayaran levi kira-kira RM650,000 dan RM460,000,” katanya. Katanya, suspek direman enam hari hingga 17 Nov selepas SPRM membuat permohonan di Mahkamah Majistret Shah Alam, pagi tadi. Sementara itu, Pengarah SPRM Selangor, Alias Salim, ketika dihubungi mengesahkan penahanan dan memaklumkan kes disiasat bawah Seksyen 18 Akta SPRM 2009. News
