(Gambar Facebook Brige Tenggara PGA) KOTA BHARU: Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) Briged Tenggara menggagalkan cubaan menyeludup pokok hiasan jenis orkid bernilai RM145,000 selepas menahan sebuah lori di sekatan jalan raya dekat Chang Empat Salam, Pasir Mas, semalam. Komander Briged Tenggara PGA, Nik Ros Azhan Nik Ab Hamid, berkata seorang lelaki berusia 33 tahun disyaki penghantar barangan berkenaan ditahan oleh sepasukan anggota Batalion 9 dalam Op Taring Wawasan pada 12.45 tengah hari. “Tangkapan dan rampasan dilakukan apabila menahan sebuah lori jenis Daihatsu yang dipandu seorang lelaki dalam keadaan mencurigakan. “Hasil pemeriksaan lanjut menemui lebih 540 pohon pokok hiasan jenis orkid yang dipercayai diseludup dari Thailand tanpa dokumen yang sah untuk pasaran tempatan,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
