Pemimpin Umno dakwa Bersatu bakal ‘bungkus’ pada PRN Sabah Posted on 11/12/2024 Bersatu dijangka mengetuai cabaran Perikatan Nasional (PN) pada PRN Sabah tahun depan. PETALING JAYA: Seorang pemimpin Umno mendakwa Bersatu akan ‘bungkus’ pada PRN Sabah tahun depan kerana kebergantungannya kepada pelarian politik dan sukar mencari ‘poster boy’. Ahli Majlis Kerja Tertinggi Puad Zarkashi berkata Bersatu satu-satunya parti bermula dengan Adun lompat dan mendapat ‘YB percuma’ yang disifatkan pelarian. Beliau merujuk penyertaan wakil rakyat Umno selepas PRU14 di seluruh negara termasuk Sabah. Menurutnya, kesemuanya kini menyertai Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) menyebabkan parti pimpinan Muhyiddin Yassin terkontang-kanting di Sabah. “Berbanding di Semenanjung, di Sabah PAS tidak kuat untuk melindungi Bersatu. “Kecuali Bersatu dapat rakan strategik baharu, dijangka Bersatu akan bungkus di PRN Sabah kali ini. Sebab itu jangan bergantung dengan pelarian,” katanya dalam kenyataan. Awal bulan ini, Muhyiddin yang juga pengerusi PN berkata komponen itu akan menyertai PRN Sabah yang menawarkan 73 kerusi DUN.
