Report lodged against KJ over conspiracy claim against Azalina Posted on 11/01/2025 Khairy Jamaluddin had made an allegation against Azalina Othman Said in his podcast. PETALING JAYA: An aide to Azalina Othman has lodged a police report against former Umno leader Khairy Jamaluddin for claiming that the law and institutional reform minister had conspired to “hide” an addendum to a pardon order for Najib Razak. Suraya Yaacob, a political secretary to Azalina, lodged a police report in Sentul and urged the authorities to investigate Khairy, a former Umno Youth chief. She said that Khairy’s alleged statement was not only false, but had also smeared Azalina’s image, Sinar Harian reported. Khairy, a former health minister, allegedly made the claim on his Keluar Sekejap podcast, which he co-hosts with former Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan. On Monday, Najib obtained leave to begin judicial review proceedings to compel the government to execute a supplementary order allowing him to serve the remainder of his jail term under house arrest. The government has denied accusations that it had kept the addendum under wraps. Home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has said his ministry did not receive any addendum or directive allowing Najib to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest. News
