Kerajaan tangguh bentang akta pekerja gig Posted on 22/11/2024 By udot Pada 28 Okt lalu Timbalan Perdana Menteri Zahid Hamidi berkata satu akta baharu berkaitan pekerja gig akan digubal dalam usaha melindungi kebajikan mereka. PUTRAJAYA: Kerajaan setuju menangguhkan pembentangan akta baharu berkaitan pekerja gig yang dijadual dibentangkan di Dewan Rakyat selepas sesi perbahasan Belanjawan 2025. Jurucakap Kerajaan, Fahmi Fadzil, berkata perkara itu dimaklumkan Menteri Sumber Manusia Steven Sim dalam mesyuarat Jemaah Menteri. “Dalam mesyuarat hari ini, saya sahkan perkara ini dibincangkan dan memang menteri sumber manusia berhasrat untuk menangguhkan,” katanya pada sidang media selepas mesyuarat Jemaah Menteri di Kementerian Komunikasi. Dalam pada itu, Fahmi yang juga menteri komunikasi berkata penangguhan bagi memberi ruang dan peluang supaya lebih banyak proses libat urus dengan pelbagai pihak dapat dilaksanakan. “Tentang garis masa, boleh berhubung dengan Steven Sim,” katanya. Pada 28 Okt lalu Timbalan Perdana Menteri Zahid Hamidi berkata satu akta baharu berkaitan pekerja gig akan digubal dalam usaha melindungi kebajikan mereka. Zahid berkata, pembentangan RUU itu akan dibuat Kementerian Sumber Manusia pada sidang Dewan Rakyat yang sedang berlangsung usai sesi perbahasan Belanjawan 2025. News
