(Gambar Bernama) KUALA LUMPUR: Dua beranak mengaku tidak bersalah di Mahkamah Majistret di sini atas pertuduhan menipu seorang lelaki dalam urusan pelaburan perniagaan durian di Singapura, tahun lepas. Elly Co, 47, dan anak lelakinya, Tee Lian Yong, 26, didakwa bersama menipu Tan Yu Lee, 41, dengan memperdayakan mangsa dalam urusan pelaburan perniagaan durian di Singapura yang tidak wujud sehingga mendorong mangsa memindahkan wang berjumlah RM55,000 sebanyak dua kali ke akaun bank milik Tee. Perbuatan itu didakwa dilakukan di Terminal Bas Bersepadu Bandar Tasik Selatan di sini pada 20 Jun 2023. Pertuduhan dibuat mengikut Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan dibaca bersama Seksyen 34 kanun sama yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara minimum setahun, maksimum 10 tahun dan sebat serta boleh didenda, jika sabit kesalahan. Timbalan Pendakwa Raya, Amritpreet Kaur Randhawa mencadangkan jaminan RM6,000 dengan seorang penjamin bagi setiap tertuduh. Peguam Jason Cheong Kah Lok dan Azrie Hanafie Rosli yang mewakili kedua-dua tertuduh memohon jaminan rendah atas alasan faktor kewangan kerana anak guam mereka hanya pekerja ladang durian. Majistret Farah Nabihah Muhamad Dan membenarkan jaminan RM2,500 dengan seorang penjamin bagi setiap tertuduh dan menetapkan sebutan kes pada 6 Jan depan. News
